One can't call this a recipe, after all-I made neither part. However, tonight I had an idea. I have Trefoils....I have Nutella....I have - a brilliant combination! Just like the chocolate topped shortbreads at the store, but w/ yummy Nutella instead.
I am now wanting sweets.
ReplyDeleteI've done this with graham crackers instead of girl scout cookies. :)
ReplyDeleteLent is over soon. Lent is over soon. Lent is over soon....
ReplyDeleteAnother Treat idea----Have a pot luck where everyone on the blog brings in one of the favorite recipe that they tried---Could be done seasonally? I'd host if its pre-baby---after that I can make no promises until I see what life has to offer----Post Baby I want to have a Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate party though but how far post baby I'm not sure yet.

Erin, that is a magnificent idea!
ReplyDeleteChris, did you not make ice cream the other day? Does that violate your Lenten commitment? Or, since it has no added sugar, does that get a pass? ;)
I did indeed make something *called* ice cream the other day, but since it a) was pretty much frozen fruit, and b) had no added sugar, it got a pass.
ReplyDeleteI vote for EV's idea. Both before and after Baby. And I could make ice cream now that I have a freezer that actually freezes things.
ReplyDeleteThe weekends of April 24, May 1, and May 8 work well for me. As of now. I'm guessing Sat or Sunday would work best so people would have more time to do any prep work---or it could be more of a cooking party we'd just have to plan out who gets oven, burners, etc.

For those weekends, Sundays work better for me. April 24th I work til 5ish, May 1 I'm judging State History Day, May 8 I work til 5 ish.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to see - I only get my work schedule 2 weeks out. As soon as I know, I'll post.
ReplyDeleteMay 8th I will likely be in WI, other two weekends should be OK...not the saturday of May 1
